I know its easier said than done :) but I wouldn't worry too much.

NatWest service levels have been atrocious since that weekend and they're currently taking up to 15 working days just to set up applications (which is probably the checkpoint which triggers the next step). So its probably the case that your applications are just sitting in a queue rather than anything else.

Finally got my mortgage app number email today and link to upload docs.

They are asking for 3 months payslips which is fine for my wife but I’m self employed so obv don’t have monthly docs only yearly SA, any idea what I should do?

They will normally ask for the last 3 years tax returns as proof of monthly income.

@mose_2 If you click on the packaging guide here https://www.intermediary.natwest.com/content/dam/natwest_com/Intermediary/PDFs/NWIS_Packaging_requirements.pdf and scroll down to your type of self-employment, it should show what the standard packaging requirement is.

However, rather than uploading anything that hasn't been asked for, I would recommend asking NatWest to tell you what is needed so you only provide what is actually needed.

Thanks I’ll ring them Monday to be sure it says sa100 and sa302
  • Broker emailed us to confirm Desktop valuation was carried out yesterday. Hopefully that’s the final step ie they wouldn’t do that unless happy with every other aspect of the application?
