Plenty of autumn left. Could be the last day of autumn.
Have you asked your MP about it? He will probably know before anybody else.0 -
As months go, Autumn ends on 30th November, so they have plenty of time yet.

With current increasing costs of living, don't know why they're holding on to it, esp after they're now not increasing benefits in line with inflation, as promised previously, so there will be a benefit cut in real terms.0

The Government don't normally announce how benefits will be uprated until November, and they certainly will not make any decision until they know what the CPI reading is for September - which will be announced on 19th October. So lets wait for the government announcement rather than trying to guess what the policy may be.

Maybe they think that, as the first payment was made in July, there is no rush for the second payment. Better to spread the payments out than pay it all at once.tifo said:With current increasing costs of living, don't know why they're holding on to it, esp after they're now not increasing benefits in line with inflation, as promised previously, so there will be a benefit cut in real terms.
It might be announced when the pension ans benefit rises are announced later this month.0 -
