No need to make me think I'm in the wrong for asking.
I think the key point was not to worry about it.

What was the answer to my question?
Yes,I have.I've just looked back through my emails to find it,and if they can get it right on the 25th September, there is even less excuse not to show the correct prices today !
But also less reason to worry assuming what you've been sent matched what you are expecting  :)
    Yes it does

Just because it is capped lower than was originally stated does not mean that is is not still a large increase.

The app is showing the correct rates for me. Need to look at changing supplier as they don’t appear to offer direct debit rates based on actual usage.
They want me to put my DD up even though I am well in credit. But I've been with them many years and not had any issues, whereas my sister has moved house, who was with them.also, and not able to transfer. So she signed up with EDF and had no end of problems so far.
So would rather not rock the boat !

But they don’t have a monthly direct debit based on actual. They’ve quoted me £112 per month for a monthly annualised direct debit which equals £1350 for the year. Using my previous 12 month usage I calculate the cost to be about £700.

I expect they do it to everyone, with at least some just blindly going along with it.I always wait until they do it without giving me a.choice,so I hold off as long as possible. But I agree,it not fair.

i am another SP customer who has a DD increase urgent action required in red message on my account.  No email just a red triangle with a yellow exclamation mark.  My annual costs work out as 220pm i am paying already 247pm because website would not let me reduce it.  I am on fix until feb 24.  I am also 500 credit last billed aug next bill nov.  I am not gonna click on DD as dont want them to automatically up it again. This makes no sense paying more especially as expecting the 67pm payment this month.  I have decided to ignore it as they have not sent me an email The Red triangle is just on front page of my account

it makes me feel SP are playing silly buggers with customers on fixes to shake us off for some reason. Perhaps they dont get so much money for fixed customers under the new Price Guarantee thingy and want rid of us

Do you have a working smart meter? I do and I've successfully been able to decrease and increase my DD payments over the last six months, with with how much I could reduced it being restricted by my (accurate) usage data.

If you don't have a working smart meter then how often are you sending SP meter readings?

@Ultrasonic i am sending readings quarterly I dont have a smart meter and chose a tariff that did not require smart meter.  I prefer not to be on smart at moment with looming blackouts on horizon.  I provide quarterly reads.

If and when rolling blackouts come they won't have anything to do with smart meters - they will be done by area.
