One way to derive the key is to guess that the 3-letter 4th word MNQ decodes to something common like AND or THE
The way the repeating 3-letter key works is that MNQ uses 3rd 1st 2nd letters of the key in order.
So AND to MNQ uses MAN as key letters so the keyword would be ANM (unlikely to be correct)
THE to MNQ uses TGM as key letters so the keyword would be GMT (which is related to time so likely to be correct)

@One-Eye, I was able to decode MNQ using the earlier table, possible combinations and your description but I'm curious how you identified MNQ as the "3 letter, 4th word"? Was that an "after I'd decrypted the whole string" observation or is there something else that indicated it to you? Thanks.

The answer needed is 4 letters/8 letters/5 letters/3 letters/5 letters and the encrypted string split to suit is:
    PAAT  TTXDBYAG  XGEKE  MNQ   PGHXY

Today's clue was one I could figure out without even looking anywhere....but some have been fiendishly hard.

    Question 16 of 20
I am emailing you to discuss itinerary for lecture this week.
At 1500, I will present a discussion on fundamental constants.
At 1530, there is a Q&A on uniform space-time. From 1745, I will present the accuracy of Schwarzschild radii with evidence. We shall finis at 2100 with a lecture during dinner.

The next day, will be much the same. I will share my work on non-relativistic physics at 1500. 1530, a discussion on supernovae in the early universe. Followed by individual questions at 1745, where we finish.

    Regards
    S.H
