Tried to enter meter reads today but bit of struggle. The have set up some temporary place for doing it and i have separated accounts for gas/elec. Took several attempts cos of message saying cant find my accounts before elec finally took. Took gas but then came up with error message on thank you page . Will be interesting if any actually registered .

It looks like they are trying to avoid the website crash they encountered the last time the price cap rates changed.casjen said:Tried to enter meter reads today but bit of struggle. I'm surprised they haven't stuck with the queuing system they implemented.0 -
I got similar. I've just moved to EDF in the last month. They asked for an opening gas read which I gave them, and 3 weeks later said my electricity had been moved to them on an estimate. I tried putting in my name, account number and postcode as requested and kept getting messages about it not being able to find my account. I ended up going via their messaging system and have had a message back saying they have input my new readings today. I don't have a great deal of confidence in them!

This applies to both web and app readings - it takes you out of the app to that form page.

That's what I got yesterday afternoon. - the main website now shows that I submitted but can't see the reading as yet.molerat said:Tried to submit readings just after midnight but kept getting error message with submission page still showing.Tried again this morning and same.Had a thought - switched off UBlock Origin.Submitted reading and it went to a blank page but was showing as "thankyou" in the address bar. Will have to wait and see what happens.1 -
I've posted my views on EDF on another thread. But I forgot to mention this issue. I've had it a few times, you log onto your account, go to submit readings and then it takes you to a page asking for the account information which just appeared on the previous page and then no reassurance that the readings have been accepted.Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. My gas reading submitted this morning - got directed to the new page which was a faff but seemingly the reading was taken. Did the GE ones for the electric at the same time and already have an email from them confirming all received.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
