We are awaiting a deed of variation for an estate rent charge (to give the lender 28 days notice if we were not to pay)
does anyone have experience of this and time scales? Been waiting three weeks and it’s the only thing outstanding!0 -

We heard that a week ago but apparently this has now been paid for last Tuesday. The annoying thing is we have very little control over this as it’s the sellers that have paid and need to push it along.I was in direct contact with the sellers but if you’ve seen my other post this has now stopped as I no longer trust them. So can’t get updates direct from them anymore (not that would help anyway as they just lied). Only person I trust now is my conveyance and she is only willing to chase once per week.0

oh how frustrating for you! It took us weeks and weeks to get to that point, ours was paid for four weeks ago.0 -

With multiple parties and their legal representatives involved the process can inevitably drag on.0 -

We’ve 8 weeks of our mortgage offer left with a possible 2 weeks extension so praying it’s all done by then or we will be pulling out and renting.
If you wouldn’t mind would you let me know once you have the DoV complete.0 -
