Contacted them to find out why I hadn't been paid up.

No switches since April 2020. Apparently I switched in November 2020.

Totally don't remember doing that. Going to start keeping record of switches from now on.

I've already got a club Lloyds account (my wife too) the last incentives from Lloyds was back in October 2019 so we are both good to go to switch in another account for this latest incentive.
Anyone else done the same and been paid ok (switched into a existing account) presume no problems switching an Halifax account (same group)
Also presuming (cheeky bit) you only keep getting the one Club Lloyds benefit, they don't give you another? I suppose that last bit unless you open a separate Club Lloyds account, can you have two?

For this switch offer, am I reading it right that I don’t need to have a minimum balance, nor any direct debits?

can I also switch a Halifax account to Lloyds to qualify? As they’re part of the same group
You don't need a minimum balance or DDs but you have to join the fee paying account - you can avoid the fee by paying in £1500 a month of course which you can by bouncing in and out £1500. As for Halifax to Lloyds, you would need to check the terms of the switch

If you don't have a debit card on the account to be switched, they can do it for you on the general number 0345 300 3000. There is a dedicated switching team 0345 604 9956 but I think they're only Mon-Fri, and they're likely to be busy on Monday

I already have a Lloyds classic current account, can I just upgrade to a Club lloyds account and get the switch bonus?

Yes, no requirement to open a new account this time. Simply upgrade in online banking or via the app and get your switch request in.

A quick switching incentive this one, £150 already paid 5 days before the switch date.👍

Mine was paid 6 days before the switch completed. I didn't log in until two days after the switch and assumed it had just been paid, but I've just checked after reading your post and found it was paid earlier, presumably when the switch was confirmed.

As well as that, I've been pleased with Lloyds so far, everything seems to work the way it should.

Already a Lloyds club account customer of around 3 years. I found an old account I'd thought I'd ditched so switched that to Lloyds, easiest £150 yet.👍
