Have a few Sims old data reward and new ones ready if we need them to add a bundle
Just used my 3 Data Reward Sim to send a text in Greece (to a UK mobile also in Greece). Been charged 15p, do the 3,2,1 rates not apply when roaming or have I misunderstood the charges?

Checked that I was still getting 3,2,1 rates (in the UK) the day after the last Three PAYG price rise in July. This is my first overseas trip since then. Has anyone else verified the cheap Data Reward roaming rates recently? Or, indeed, 3,2,1 rates are still applying in the UK?
Not a 3 customer, but EE were able to put together a 'special deal' to avoid losing a customer that worked out around half the price of a new customer offer, with EU roaming included.
I spend quite a bit of time in the EU, so this was not a negotiable part of the negotiation. A call to many companies can often come up with significant savings.

What did the "you are roaming" message say?
I always wait for that before using any sim
Welcome text:
Welcome to Greece. If you have an Add-on you can use your monthly call, text & data allowance at no extra cost to call and text back to the UK, between EU destinations and to go online (fair use policies apply - see 3.uk/ow7)........
Not sure how this applies to a Data Reward Sim that just has a few quid of credit plus the free data allowance.

I have just sent an SMS to my main UK number from my Data Reward SIM while EU roaming, it cost 15p. The 200MB free monthly data is still useable while roaming here, as usual. I never exceed the quota so I don't know the cost per MB, and I haven't used the SIM in UK for nearly three years so I don't know if it's still 3|2|1 while there.

I just sent an SMS from within the UK from my Data Reward SIM to my other mobile. It was charged at 2P. It looks like Three are using a different charging platform for international usage. It appears that inter UK texts seem to have slipped through the net, for the time being :-)

The price guide suggests pay as you go is 15p a text in UK and when roaming

or for older plans it shows 2p in UK and 2p when roaming

So if you are getting charged 15p when roaming you are probably getting charged 15p in the UK?

I can spell, my iPad can't.
