My bf went to Tesco with a bunch of mates before paintballing and none of them had a card and the til lady let them all use my bfs card hehe. He probably only got like 10p out of it or something, hardly 'theft' and the tesco employee let him. Or maybe she just fancied him hehe

Nowt wrong with that!Had my first win! Some head and shoulders worth about £5. :j0 -
Speaking about myself I really couldn't give a stuff what you call me with regards to picking up 'barcoded' receipts.
IMO, the people who spit their dummy out about it, and name call over the tinternet, tend not to have much backbone in real life :rolleyes:Quotes in context only please.0 -
Just thought i'd add my 2p's worth
Having worked in retail, i've had a little bit to do with how CCTV is operated - and certainly in the area we live in its what they call 'receipt picking'; i.e. you could pick up a discarded receipt, go into the store, pick the item off the shelf, take it to the till and claim you bought it and its faulty/not wanted etc etc. SOME CCTV operaters certainly look out for people doing this.
So my advice, even though i'm not against it :rotfl: is just be careful!0 -
Remember you're a womble!0

I have taken a receipt back 2-3 times before when the CS hasn't scribbled on them...

Or maybe she thought that was the best plan on meeting a bunch of hairy blokes, wearing camouflage gear, goggles, and carrying weapons???

Convinced? I am. (NOT!) Like I said, pathetic.

Merry Christmas sunshineOne hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0 -
It is definitely illegal to throw litter on the floor. So the Shoppers who claim the moral high ground, do you snitch them in to the coppers when you see other shoppers drop their receipts and litter in the car park?Quotes in context only please.0
