When taking an unclaimed points receipt to Tesco Customer Services, the staff just scan the bar code on the receipt.Out of curiosity, does anyone know if this means that the receipt cannot be scanned again for points by another CS person?

They usually put a pen line on the barcode once scanned...

A few words of warning doing this... people can and have been banned from cc (and lost ALL their points in the process)

If you are instore shopping normally with your cc then go in with a wombled receipt computer knows u have already shopped and used your cc sooo the I forgot to use my cc wouldnt cut it..

People have had wombled receipts added to their cc a/c only to find that the wombled receipt was paid for using a stolen bank card (if u r gonna do it... cash only receipts)

People have also had friendly letters (!!!) from Mr T asking if you have a problem with your CC as you have had rather a lot of CS added points.

Always worth bearing in mind

That's why you have a few cards and then consolidate the points to one card prior to making a large Club Card purchase;)

First album I ever bought though if I want to keep any street cred I don't suppose I should admit that (I was only little, honest;)). Grandparents lived in Wimbledon and we spent many an aimless Sunday afternoon being sent around Wimbledon Common to look for the wombles.

P.S. I pick up Tesco receipts too...just need to train the kids.

my son is a nightmare. Since I tld him about it, he picks up every tesco receipt he can find, and as I am handing over coupons at the checkout comes up and proudly declares "Look mum, one with 12, one with 9 and one with 52!" he is obsessed with them

I found about 30 stuffed in his side compartment in the car when i cleaned it last week. All with less than 5 on cos I said they're no good!
