Don't forget, that technically you are being wrong when giving in many money off coupons. Lots of MOC have on them, "Using this cupon against anything other than the product listed constitutes fraud"
however my opinion is, if Mr T accepts them, he is the one commiting any wrong doing
None of my coupons say that Discodee, I just had a look through my new for 2008 stash!
They say to me (the customer) 'please don't try to redeem against any other product.....to avoid embarrassment at the checkout':o but nothing about fraud as it's not of course, at least not on the part of the customer if the store has a policy to accept coupons anyway.
The bit about fraud/misuse/misredemption sometimes appears in the blurb to the retailer....but then Tesco/Asda/Waitrose know that full well don't they? And they still have a policy to accept coupons anyway regardless of what the customer buys, because it gets people like you and me in their door rather than Sainsburys' or other stores that don't have the same policy.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

...I was once stopped by policeman from removing a beautiful 1950s chrome bakery display case from a skip on the basis that once in a skip it belongs to the skip owner so I would be committing theft if I removed it...
Well done on resisting what would have been my impulse to knock his helmet into the skip and say "touch that and you're nicked!"
What a plonker! I expect this happened in a location where police clear up rates are minimal...0 -
