There are all sorts of roller inking stamps for hiding personal details on Amazon - look for 'roller stamp identify theft stamp'. Ink over personal details.

Recently (in the last 6 months) I've had to provide original bank statements, posted by the bank to my address rather than my own printouts of pdfs.greensalad said:I'd rather buy a printer than buy a shredder, and then go paperless. When you need to you can print, vs having to shred mountains of paperwork. Or go to the library on the rare occasion you need to print something.
Fortunately I keep 1 account with monthly paper statements in case of this type of request.
Given that mail tends to arrive with your address on - catalogues, Amazon deliveries (where the address label should be shredded) I'd rather a shredder than a printer...1
