There are all sorts of roller inking stamps for hiding personal details on Amazon - look for 'roller stamp identify theft stamp'.  Ink over personal details.

Recently (in the last 6 months) I've had to provide original bank statements, posted by the bank to my address rather than my own printouts of pdfs.

Fortunately I keep 1 account with monthly paper statements in case of this type of request.

Given that mail tends to arrive with your address on - catalogues, Amazon deliveries (where the address label should be shredded) I'd rather a shredder than a printer...
