If that's your moral compass and you believe you have a claim, then go for it.

Worth a shot isn't it?
Is it? Why? See my post above.
Well of course I'd need to have a close look at the T&Cs. Is 'no-win, no-fee' generally a con?
Only asking because we're in the process of pursuing a personal injury claim and the solicitors work on this basis.
Personal injury is totally different to the other bottom feeders that prowl the landscape looking for their next £££.

I would question the moral compass of the solar panel installers, if their claims of ROI were inflated. But we don't have the numbers involved so can't really make a judgement.

If the panels were installed prior to 3rd March 2012 the feed in tariff the would have been receiving for the past 10 years would just about covered the cost of installation. Mine were fitted in late 2011 and the FI payments have coved install costs as well as reducing my overall electric bill). After that the FI tariffs were slashed, but regardless of the implementation date they have no where to obtain compo as the company no longer exists.2

So what are the figures then.Price of install?Amount received to date from the Feed in Tarriff?Amount saved from the free electricity produced?0

Either the compo people can claim from a company that no longer exists for compensation for something that isn’t eligible for compensation or the compo people see elderly people that they can extract money from. Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.2 -
OP, have you checked that this is not a scam, perhaps even using a look-alike of a "genuine" no-win/no-fee claims company? You know the sort - sign up, give all your personal details, oh, and can you please give us your bank details so that we can pay you the compensation...0
