Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
I'm planning a lazy day today but will be walking Poppet, doing some admin and catching up with washing as today should stay dry.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning all
It’s been a full on few days here. Lovely I many ways and awful in others. Long story short had a huge meltdown yesterday morning, in public, which I haven’t done in a very very long time.Today will be for taking it easy. Children know we’re having a slow day. Hugs to all xx9 -

Good morning all,
Back from our lovely and long awaited week in France. DD decided not to come with us, so there was a bit of a gap, a lot of worrying at being at a distance (me), a lot of early morning noise (DH) because he didn’t have me telling him not to wake DD up. We ate and drank too much, spent time with friends, walked dogs in between the torrential rain, and read lots of books. I have yet again looked at houses for sale there…
We got back late last night, but in record time for us - HB, I will never get to grips with the Plymouth traffic system!
Today’s plan is to run wm x gazillion (the price of not catching up with the washing before we left, bad flylady), and tidy away the clanking results of our final day’s shopping trip… What I should be doing, however, is going to look at the state of the allotment, and planning how to tackle this slinky thing, as my clothes are tighter than ever after a week of good eating. Maybe tomorrow.
Hugs to all, 1st wm load has just finished, 2nd queuing for its place.
Have a good day xx7 -
Morning all xx Waving madly to welcome Fayolle home 👋
I didn't wake up until 9am. Hopefully I've caught up on a few zzzzzs.
I'm up, made my bed, opened the curtains, taken my meds, turned over the eternal calendars and had a brew.
Brew 2 and breakfast next.
Have a good day

So pleased you had a fabulous week Fayolle xx
I have done a few jobs this morning and roped the children into helping. My head feels so much clearer. The small hen coop has been cleaned out (the big one can wait until tomorrow). X1 WM almost done, beds made, swept through. Electric bill for last month just £73, v pleased with this as my efforts to reduce are paying off (it was £15 more the month prior. I pay on receipt of bill).
If I don’t get on again later I’ll see you all on the new thread xx8 -
Dailies done, last wash load in machine, hoovered thorough and Poppet walked. She managed to remove the dressing from her leg so I redid that. Also repaired a book that DGD1 had been a little heavy handed with.Currently knitting a scarf while watching telly.Spend less now, work less later.9

Washing twirling outside. 3rd load nearly finished. Normality restored to all quarters. So general detritus and dust remains, just to clarify normality. Fridge checked (it being Sunday and all that) - yep, the courgettes are still staring out at me, so that is dinner sorted.
I don’t want to go back to work - * stamps foot loudly*.7
