  • Is GCTT even registered as an official bailiff?
    I can't find it here: https://certificatedbailiffs.justice.gov.uk

Is a bailiff allowed to send such letters without a court decision?
Should I report this to HM Courts?

They are unregulated so can say what they like. They don't say in what field they are certificated. It could mean that they have a ten metre swimming Sir Sticky-Foot hanging on the wall, or one of them has got an "ology".

I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D

But bailiffs aren't unregulated these days, are they?

Can a debt crawler use the term 'Certificated Enforcement Agent' which is the new word for a bailiff (as the previous ZZPS letter says - the one I linked earlier) if they are NOT one?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Gary Osner is listed on the Bailiffs register as from 29th September 2021:-

(It's on page 59 if the link doesn't work).

The point is no one actually cares in the grand scheme of things (even if it is wrong)

    I dunno...

I care!  The DLUHC do too, I'm sure.

I will ask the DLUHC if the phrase 'Certificated (or 'certified')  Enforcement Agent' can be added to the banned words list.

'Bailiff' is already there as a banned word in E.2, after all, and that was after my lobbying for the list:

    Hi,
I overstayed in a retail park(cca 25min) and I got a parking penalty charge notice that I missed, then a debt collection notice from ZZPS, and now a letter from GTCC as attached.

Did anyone faced a similar situation?
I thught private parking notice don't go to bailiffs, at least not before going through court.

The sender address on GTCC letter is the same as ZZPS, does this mean anything?

I'm ready to appeal the charge based on the fact that the sign was not clear, but I did not get a chance, so I suppose I'll have to challenge it in court.

    Thank you!
Hi - sorry to bother you - just wondered if you ended up having to pay this as we’ve had a letter from “ZZPS” saying we owe £170 and, like you, missed the original “parking charge notice”?  Thanks.
