EA fees, removal costs and stamp duty on a new property would be far more than any saving you are going to make on energy costs with a smaller property. You might break even in a few years...

The UK is not sustainable anymore with the rising costs of everything. Whilst many countries around the world are being impacted by this crisis, it appears Europe is suffering more the most of the world. It's grim up north, don't move here. We don't have electricity or gas, we have to dig our own coal and cook on open fires. We sleep in our pit boots so the rats, which are bigger than cats, don't steal them.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

One wonders if it will end up being cheaper to go on year round cruises than actually owning a home!! At least the price of a ticket covers everything!0
