I want to get a lot accomplished this week! I've got a tradition of my own whereby I don't put the tree up until around the 21st, and the lights go on at sunset on the Solstice.

    I like that :T

Just thawing out with a cuppa before I crack on - got a few bits from Poundworld for littleys hamper & some cellophane for the choc mugs £3 for 2 metres  it cost more than the cups lol) but hopefully there'll be enough left for DD1's hamper I'm thinking not though. So, they're on the list for today too then they're done.

Got collared coming out of McDonalds by someone doing a survey about them (couldn't resist a sausage/egg muffin :o ) which meant it was cold by the time I got home  and next door's annoying me today just cause she's next door, I really need to learn to let it go :D

Think I'll pop the heating on I'm chilled to the bone, and this ear is still bunged up (know how you feel lil_me) x

doubt i'll be around much today as i'm trying to get my packing done. just off to get more boxes from friend's garage (got about 10 already but might as well be optimistic.) couple of friends coming later to help, big pan of soup on the go at the moment.

    will report progress later.

hugs to all who need them.

Good Luck with the packing Rach

lil_me I may be buying one of your Nintendo's if the one I ordered on behalf of MIL doesn't show up soon, it was 5-7 working days so I suppose technically they've got till Thursday. the pool table I ordered for teenie hasn't turned up yet either, it should be today (last day) - I'm starting to fret especially as I think I clicked the wrong postage and it may not cover it!
  • Morning folks. We are all having a day at home today. Tummy bug in the house again. At least it isn't next tuesday though. I don't think i will have any advantage to a day off work though as the room is spinning every time i move, and at the moment i am watching charlie while DH has a lie down, so hopefully i can do the same later. i think for me it is more pregnancy and tired related as i was unable to do anything last night either. Thankfully charlie is being fairly good, although i wish i was in bed too at the moment. Lets see if he will do a big nap at lunchtime again today.

Anyway, lovely to see so much crossed off lists. Pigpen and soappie in particular. Rach, you are doing a lot off your various lists as usual. Nice to see some pre-wedding pampering in there, but i don't envy you the waxing.

We the undersigned will not let our Christmas be spoilt by trying to be everything to everyone, if our homes are not 100% perfect then let it be our friends and family want to see us not our cleaning/flying skills. We will do our best and sod the rest Happy Christmas everyone
