    Morning everyone ''Yawn'',
DS2 came in this morning to tell me he had been sick, went to sort him out and realsied he hadn't been sick but it was coming from other end all over the bed, pj's it was bad. Gonna phone playschool and tell them he won't be in and then get him into the doctors. He's been out of sorts for 2 weeks now so better see what is wrong.

Got most of kitchen done last night and looked through all santa stuff to see what battery's are needed and what is left to get.action-smiley-033.gif WWWWwas hoping to get rest today so we'll see what happens.

Right time to get other 2 up and i need another cuppalaughing-smiley-014.gif
    Have a great day everyone.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Have a hug vanilla, sounds like you could do with one.

Didn't get any more wrapping done last night as a friend called to see if I was ok. So instead if a glass of wine and wrapping it was a glass of wine and a chat :)

So this today I want to get it all done and finished. Dad is going to call round to wrap his presents for mum after work and friends are calling in tonight. Plus if I don't get a phone call or letter then I need to make at least one call today.

Better go and get A & W organised, have a great day everyone xx

Morning ladies, hugs Vanilla poor little thing.

Not feeling great today, bit of stomach and just exhausted for no reason. Cat has been off colour for a couple of weeks so going to take her to the vet if she doesn't finish her breakfast.

    Right shower for me.

Morning all and hugs to Vanilla and Dusty.

It's cloudy and cold here this morning and my back aches from the unaccustomed humping and shifting yesterday. Thank goodness I have the physiotherapist booked for Thursday.

Did a couple more easy things on my list last night - the Christmas card writing and menu planning. DiL has left the ironing board up in the kitchen so maybe that's the task I should concentrate on first today - it would be silly to put it away just to get it out again. Then, maybe, I'll do some of the shopping this afternoon.

Right, as everyone else has now left for work, I think I'll have a good wallow in the bath to ease the aching back, do breakfast and then tackle that ironing mountain!

  • I want to get a lot accomplished this week! I've got a tradition of my own whereby I don't put the tree up until around the 21st, and the lights go on at sunset on the Solstice. The day or so leading up to this I enlist the kids to help decorate, and they love this, besides - they don't actually break up until Thursday (I think - runs off to check), yes, thursday. I want to achieve a lot before they are sitting around cluttering the place up, but at the same time I am looking forward to an end to the GET UP! arguments I have each day with my son. Honestly, today it was 8:12 when he finally dragged himself out after I issued an ultimatum!
I got on and did some of Monday's list yesterday, then had to go and see the step-mum-in-law cos it was her birthday. Bad experience! Then a trip to the opticians for our two kids. I attempted to get them to do a taste challenge with ASDA smart price instant mash (16p!) and Mr Mash instant mash - it was no contest. Oh well, another attempt to cut costs thwarted! I only get instant mash once in a blue moon anyway, it just helps when you haven't much time to cook.
Hope everyone is keeping stress-free, sorry to hear about the break in likklegibbon, hope the insurance comes through quickly and without any extra stress.
    Will be back!

We the undersigned will not let our Christmas be spoilt by trying to be everything to everyone, if our homes are not 100% perfect then let it be our friends and family want to see us not our cleaning/flying skills. We will do our best and sod the rest Happy Christmas everyone

Good morning, big hugs for vanilla and her little one, poor little guy. Dusty, hope the vets trip goes ok, isn't too expensive and kitty is better soon.

DP took DS2 to school this morning with the dogs so that mean't I had 2 less jobs to do, just aswell as I slept in due to being up half the night with naffing ear pain. If it's not better by Thursday I'm going to the doctors, additional pain not good over Xmas, don't mind the fact I can only hear from one ear, that bits blissful :D

I need to go out in a mo, pay money into bank, get my Mam's present (last one I have to go shopping for :D) then go to get some mince pies for the charity night tonight, not making them as we have a snitch goes to the club who would have no second thoughts in shopping me to the food safety peeps if I made them at home, I hate that person and will not give them reason to cause problems (I know harsh word, but has given me good reason)

Looks like I will have to put 2 ds lites on ebay. People asked us to get them for them, now they don't want them, bit far to take them back unfortunately. Might find someone locally who wants them, could do with having the money for them before Christmas or it's going to leave us £200 short, not what you need over the expensive season. I hate it when people do that!!!

Suppose I should stop talking about it and go and do it.
One day I might be more organised...........
