Sorry, need to be clear. Have transferred all last years cash Isa, into new one in April, but interest rate not great. Can I leave that cash in there & open another separate Isa, to add new money to, which has better interest ? Don’t think I can.

If you have not contributed to an ISA in the current tax year, you can certainly open an ISA with another provider for this purpose.

If you are not happy with the interest rate on the old account, why not transfer to a better paying account?

Not only has the question been asked and answered regularly over there, but OP already asked pretty much the same question there a couple of days ago - I thought I'd answered it concisely and accurately but perhaps they didn't believe or understand it!
