this is for 2-3 adults, all food and household cleaners, running the whole month throo.
i'm on hols from the 9th for a week so my sister is doing dad care for me, she eats very cheaply but i've left her the booking for shoppings to be delivered and told her within reason she can order what she likes. i'm expecting a few treats for them both to fall into her online trolley8 -
Many thanks for the new thread @elsiepac
I'm going to stick with the same budget again. We have time off work for a good part of September so I can see it going off piste. This budget is for 2 adults and a kitten, covering food, drinks, cleaning and toiletry items.£250 for September please.

Thank you for the shiny new thread, @elsiepac! After some exhaustive headbanging, I've decided to aim for
£400
for September, please. This is because we'll be minus DS3 all month (basically forever now, except for holidays! He has a "proper" job way up north to go to) and also DD1 & boyfriend from 10th, although she will return briefly if she has any serious baking to do; their rental place only has a microwave. (This is an experimental 2-month rental, on both parts. Was an elderly relative annexe, probably becoming an airbnb) So there'll just be OH, DD2 & myself living here for 2/3rds of the month, but DD1 & BF and DS2 & family are likely to pop in for the odd meal & games night at weekends, hence I'm not cutting to the bone - yet. Also, only 2 diets to cater for, omni & pescatarian, and DD2 is very non-fussy, adaptable & capable in the kitchen. Kind of like a little holiday on the catering front, for me!

First spends of the month - £46/£300!
Lots of fruit, loo rolls and freezer bags in that figure- I've run out of freezer boxes due to cooking lots of courgette based sauces to use up my courgette mountain and bought bags as I'm nearly out of freezer space and bags are more flexible! 😉 loo rolls will do us for the month and I'm on a detox at the moment so there's lots of fruit involved- hopefully we're done for the week now though!!DNF: £708.92/£1000
JSF: £708.58/£1000
Winter season grocery budget: £600.85/£900
