Was searching for free alternative to nimbusmaps, but doesn't look like there is any. May be Nimbusfree should provide some basic plan for a minimal fee?1

Did you or anyone find an alternative to Nimbus maps? I am after something and Nimbus used to be great to give boundary outline and plot size. It's a lot £ per month though nowMortgage Free Wannabe Light Bulb Moment (Early 2012, started May 2012)

Not sure about council houses, but I've seen areas where several housing association houses are shown as a single plot. Those houses that were bough outright were shown separately. I think it's the same for council houses. The site is https://www.landregistry-uk.com/map-search.The boundaries are typically a little away from the satellite view, but give a good idea of the actual boundaries.

There’s tons of bungalows in good conditions in our part of the world (Dorset) but it’s one of the most expensive parts of the country. When we lived in Devon I noted there were tons there. We bought a 3 bedroomed one in Northants, there wasn't a lack and ours was cheaper than some 3 bedroomed houses.0

Thanks, my relative has bought a bungalow now but this does pretty much what I was trying to achieve. Coincidentally the bungalow they bought was an ex-council property bought by the original owner using right to buy - looking on the map you linked to the surrounding properties are all on one plot with my relative's bungalow being on it's own plot so this would have done the job in trying to identify privately owned properties.

Have you tried House Metric? They have sold prices for property which you can sort by bungalows. You can then see planning apps, plots size, cost per sqm, local area data insights and area heatmaps showing selling prices. Its £10.-1

If I was dropping leflets with a purchase in mind, some properties would be missed out because of aspect or other factors applied as a filter as I delivered them.
There's so few bungalows on the market here,
Apart from seaside towns (especially south and east coasts) and the small Suffolk town of Brandon, most places have very few bungalows compared to houses. Many detached bungalows in good locations or on good plots are either extended upwards or demolished to be replaced by 4/5/6 bed houses. Very few new ones are being built.
Around where I live most bungalows on the market are high priced, need thousands spending on updating and stay on the market for approx. 5 minutes.
Estate Agents often do leaflet drops "Having sold STC we have a client looking for a property like yours" EAs will have a good knowledge of their local area, so it may be an option for you.0
