Paul - I agree that the layout could be more helpful, quite why it picks out the minority fuels of LPG is a secret known only to LPG Towers and doesn't have a subsection for Gas and Electricity I don't know

Just follow the link as above then click on Energy

You had an offer £400 cheaper than todays offer, and decided not to take it.

    What makes todays offer better?

I am amazed that some many on this particular board have swithered about taking fixes when the "bad news" has been all over the press, TV and posted by forum members in just about every "should I ?" topic in the last six weeks.

@PaulDesmond, if as you say, you work(ed) in IT then if you are using a mouse and not a mobile, simply rolling that over Energy would have revealed it is actually a link, perhaps you only like blue links, LOL.

My yearly costs is going up from £836 to £2,350 which is an increase of 181%. Admittedly. I ignored the advice of Captain Lewis and switched from Utility Point as soon as it went bust. I did not leave it to the regulator as advised, so I didn't have the first price hike. My energy bill only went up by £25 a year. for this last year

A fixed offer for £2350 is £400 cheaper than todays offer, that you are considering again.

an admin moved your thread from where you had originally put it (in LPG, etc. sub-section) to where it is now in the main Energy section.

To summarise the last 29 posts:
    • On the 5th of August the OP was offered Sainsbury's Smooth Renew v18 (or possibly v19), a 12-month fix that was projected to cost £2350 a year.
    • OP didn't take it.
    • Today OP has been offered Sainsbury's Fixed Renew v20, a new 12-month fix that is projected to cost £2760 a year.
    • OP is wondering whether to take it or not.
Unrelated to the above, OP is also having some difficulty navigating the forum (difficulties they didn't have a fortnight ago).
