    Hi guys abit off topic...my DS loves truffles but they come at a price unless you make your own...
    I found this recipe on the bbc and just had to share it with you chocoholics...

  • the pound shop had some silicon moulds in which could be useful for chocolate slabs-
    mini muffin cases
    teddy bear shape
    butterfly shape

    Thanks for that - I popped in there today and picked up the butterfly, the teddy bear, mini muffin and fairy cake ones....bargin at £1 a set....

    The choccies now setting in the fridge so I'll let you know how they come out.

  • I attempted to make a chocolate slab today, but it was a disaster,
    so i put the chopped up choc into the silicone loaf tin and melted it in the microwave,
    it turned out really well and is about 2 inches thick, i added smarties and marshmallows before it set and my hubby and son ate the whole thing before i could take a photo.
