Home made chocolate slabs

thanks to everyone who has posted about this, I decided to bite the bullet and make some for my OH.

I got the ice cube trays from tesco in the shape for love hearts awww, and some sprinkly things to go on top and I had a go with my daughters to make some.

I had them all lying on a plate yesterday for oh coming in from work, they come out really well :beer: and i said to the girls to show their daddy what they had made for him, and he went aww they are good, where did you buy them from :eek: I said buy them ? I made them and he said no you didnt :rotfl: so when he went into the kitchen and see the ice cube trays he believed me :rotfl: When i came in from work last night he had left me one, and him and the girls had eaten the rest, so they went down well :T

Will defo be making these for easter and mothers day etc.

I'm pretty sure I once saw a chef somewhere on telly making honeycomb and then putting it in a silicone mould so I guess it should work

JellyTot those are brilliant! Well done! They are so neat... its great to see the chocs made from white choccie.

Did you crush smarties for the tops??

Aww thanks princesspoppypop! Those are crushed smarties on some of them Annoyingly I ran out of freezer-sealed bags to help me crush the smarties so I had to use a sharp knive! Which took quite a while and was rather scary.
I think I may have cracked the image problem, going to try one last time:
