'Swap out' postage stamps

  • I sent £23 of stamps off on 13 April 2023, and have nothing back from Royal Mail yet - is this normal?  Their phone (general) 'helpline' 03457 740 740 takes about 10 mins to get through the press-buttons to the right place (but still non-specific) and then they (usefully) say that there is a 40 minute wait ... so i didn't.  Might try calling at a more low-peak time.

No, sure you should had a reply (long) before now.

I sent a stack of stamps just before I went away in early July. came home a couple of weeks ago and a large envelope of stamps had been delivered in that time.

Is there another way of contacting them- thinking of email.

  • I phoned that number on a Saturday, and the predicted 10 minute wait was around 20 minutes.  They could do nothing as the stamp people do not work on weekends, but gave me a more direct 03457 641 641.  I've filled in a (general) complaint form online, and they have 72 (working) hours to respond!

I don't think they have set a deadline yet. Certainly the page is still live.
