Update - Email received from DCB "legal" - Along with attached N180 Questionnaire
Good afternoon
Having reviewed the content of your defence, we write to inform you that our client intends to proceed with the claim. In due course, the Court will direct both parties to each file a directions questionnaire. In preparation for that, please find attached a copy of the Claimant's, which we confirm has been filed with the Court. Without Prejudice to the above, in order to assist the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our client may be prepared to settle this case - in the event you wish to discuss settlement, please call
If you have provided an email address within your Defence, we intend to use it for service of documents (usually in PDF format) hereon in pursuant to PD 6A (4.1)(2)(c). Please advise whether there are any limitations to this (for example, the format in which documents are to be sent and the maximum size of attachments that may be received). Unless you advise otherwise, we will assume not.Kind Regards,

Keep your nerve and proceed as instructed here. No point in replying to DCBL BECAUSE THE ONLY SETTLEMENT is when you win and claim your costs against them
And it will be you who is assisting the court to expose this
Soon, you will be reporting in this thread >>>DCB LEGAL RECORD OF PRIVATE PARKING COURT CLAIM DISCONTINUATIONS

Update - Directions questionnaire (Small Claims Track)
Hi Everyone, I have received the Directions questionnaire (Small Claims Track)
Letter titled Notice of Proposed Allocation to the SCT
I must by 3rd November complete the N180 form and file it with the court office
"This is now a defended claim"
Just want to clarify some questions on the N180 form as it looks different to the one I did before:- Do you agree to this case being referred to the Small Claims Mediation Service? - I ticked NO
- Do you agree that the small claims track is the appropriate track for
this case? - I ticked YES
- Do you consider that this claim is suitable for determination without a hearing, i.e. by a judge reading and considering the case papers, witness statements and other documents filed by the parties, making a decision, and giving a note of reasons for that decision? If No, please state why not. - I TICKED NO (What shall I write in the Box? This case is too complex and requires a hearing to show the particulars?
- Are you asking for the court’s permission to use the written evidence of
an expert? - I ticked NO
- HOW MANY WITTNESSES - (Myself) 1
- NO to interpreter
- Do you believe you, or a witness who will give evidence on your behalf, are vulnerable in any way which the court needs to consider? If Yes, please explain in what way you or the witness are vulnerable and what steps, support or adjustments you wish the court and the judge to consider. - I ticked NO
Thank you everyone
