Am pleased to say that I did receive the extra £5 top up on my Christmas Cashpot saver. I have no doubt that this will be spent on a couple of bottles of spirits!
I've spent a short time looking at the Asda Rewards T&Cs today - whilst you can spend your vouchers online at Gorge Home, George Home will not earn you anything towards your missions. A bilateral process would be appreciated (by me at least).
Something else to be aware of: Asda telephone CS is offshored and their source of information is the website so don't expect anything more than that.No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Had to spend 19p for my shop today
Used the £1 off Toblerone coupon & some Xmas cashpot. Got 58p added to my cashpot and a £1 off ES crisps coupon from the Scan to Win promo.

The reward card has encouraged me to spend a lot more at Asda - probably at the expense of Mr T. The BLC discount has in part steered my choice of products towards fresh, and household (eg dw tablets) and UPF treats (bottles of spirits and big tubs of chocs ahead of Christmas) brought significantly influenced by hefty cashbacks, esp when there has been a spending target in mind.
So Asda has succeeded in its plan to get me to spend more money there, but I have been a willing partner in that. There has been plenty in it for me! Eta - I'm pretty sure I resisted getting the app until May, since then I have accrued >£80 of spends. No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I recently downloaded Asda Rewards to see how it compares to Nectar and Tesco etc.
I'm not sure if I am using it correctly I scan the barcode at the till from my app and it beeps but I have no history or receipts on app.
Am I doing anything wrong?0 -
No, it’s different to Clubcard. You have a cash pot which builds up depending on what you buy. But you don’t get points for everything that you buy, just certain categories.
if you look in the earn section, it will tell you offer specific to you. And then they have a star buy system where certain items build up points or a discount. Then, when you’ve earned enough points, you can turn them points into vouchers in the cash pot.To be honest, I just buy what I would normally buy, and if I get points from it, it’s a bonus. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.3 -

Am I doing anything wrong? It isn’t a point system, it’s a cashback system that you convert to money off your shopping. You can always see your monetary value and not points.Always check your app for missions.
You may be planning on spending £9.98 but you could have an offer if you spend £10 etc
Their are star products, superstar products that give you at least 10% back in your cash pot (currently the Extra special boneless Jamon Serrano has £5 cash pot for example) and others that are specific value, for example last week Terrys chocolate oranges were £1.50 but you got 75p back in your pot.I buy what I would regularly buy and I cannot believe how quickly it adds up, yesterday I got an app alert saying I had earnt over £25 in November alone.
As well as missions, you get vouchers too. Anybody been able to work out how Asda Rewards works!
It is the most confusing of the loyalty schemes for me, i purchased coffee for £1.99 and got £3 in my cash pot but nothing for a second purchase i got a pizza £5 and got £5 in the cash pot and £2 next time followed by £0.
I know with Nectar price you get a great price on an item but the discount gets less if you keep purchasing it in order to get you buying something regularly but the Asda version seems all over the place.
Enjoy everyday like it's your last!0 -
