Shawbrook Bank Tips!

To anyone who has had a fixed bond matured with Shawbrook 

If you are withdrawing the funds back to your nominated account - they say that the “transfer will take place on the next working day after maturity”

My maturity day is a Tuesday 

so am I likely to get the money in my account on the Wednesday?

or is it a case of they will do the transfer on the Wednesday , so it will then arrive with me the day after, on Thursday ?

Mine matured over the weekend too and it's disappeared from online banking so I'm just waiting on the funds to appear in my nominated current account.

Thankfully, Shawbrook make closed accounts visible in online banking so you can generate an interest summary for this tax year, if needed.

For info - mine arrived around 2.30pm this afternoon. 

It's a shame they dropped their one year rate to 4.30% - just need to find a new home for the money now, probably with another bank.

my maturity date is tomorrow - so fingers crossed I should get my dosh back about 2.30pm on Wednesday?!

Ditto - 25 days before. Also been with them for yonks.
