To be fair they have an OK reputation normally but they admitted to being swamped and not enough staff .
Maybe they are OK again now.0 -
If you log in you are greated with a warning that they are dealing with more calls than usual right now blah blah blahh

Maybe they are OK again now.Not sure about specific dates but there was at least one day when I couldn't contact them at all.... on my next call they told me they had had 'system problems'.During my recent issue with them (documented elswhere .....) I had to phone them at least four times over the course of three days and never waited more than a minute - unless I was just VERY lucky! ...... compare and contrast Santander with wait times typically more than an hour!

As far as I can see, almost every institution you call, gives you the same warning as a matter of course.

I had a Shawbrook one year bond that matured in August, and they emailed a month before, telling me to log in as I had a message. The message had maturity options for me to choose from. I've also got a 6 month bond expiring in 3 weeks, but heard nothing so far about that.0

kinda glad it’s not just me they’ve forgotten about!! 🙂So when you got the email for your one year bond - did something appear in your eDocuments when you logged in?0 -
Shawbrook have just notified me by email (referencing an edoc) 25 days before maturity. I've dealt with SB for several years and this seems about par for the course in my experience.0
