I've got Perfect fit (Blinds 2go) on various windows. No problems having the blinds up or down when the windows are open.
I have Duoshade and Duolight blinds; each are one piece of the honeycomb material, rather than the venetian style.
They're a lifesaver for keeping bright morning sunlight out of a bay windowed bedroom.
I use them less in winter though, as I find they trap warm air against the glass, and create lots of condensation.

But thats issue, with the window open light is going to come in even if the blind is down.

But any wall mounted blind/curtain is either going to block air coming in through the open window, or flap around in the breeze creating varying light levels and noise. You can't have complete light blackout and windows open.

We have internal shutters in our bedroom, so that we can have the window open and the shutters open in that area slightly. Compromise is that some light comes through.
