I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Good job you weren't trying to pay for parking on an app on your mobile!3

The defendant has today received a notification from DCB Legal that their client intends to proceed with the claim and they have enclosed a directions questionnaire. They also offered to settle. Should the defendant make a settlement offer?
Question: doesn't the claimant have to prove that there was some kind of loss to them in order for them to claim that an amount is owed to them?

That letter is standard blurb. Do ignore it ...... why on earth would you want to make an offer ?? Lookout for a DQ from the court. The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.2

You seem to have abandoned that checklist you were following when you filed your Defence.
Item 7 on that checklist is...Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list are well worth another read.

I thought I might have previously posted the link to the following here, but on reading back through the thread, it seems that I haven't.So, to help keep you motivated to follow all the requirements of the court phases in order to push UKPC/DCB Legal closer to the discontinuation precipice, please have a look at the thread linked below:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

@Umkomaas - thank you for that. 56 discontinuances... wow. The registered keeper has filed the letter from DCB legal and is waiting for the directions questionnaire from the court. Once received, I will complete that as directed in bargepole's post and then submit that and wait for a court date and a deadline for witness statement submissions.
The registered keeper has also submitted a SAR to UKPC as well as a complaint regarding this entire process to their MP.
Have I missed any steps? I think I have understood the timeline of the process.
