From experience, I think I will close my Ebay shop for a few days either side of the dates.0

So if you sell something on Aug 25th and send 2nd class, next day, it's unlikely to arrive until Sep 1st at the earliest. If there's a big backlog that could be pushed until after the second round of strikes..0

There are already calls on the eBay discussion boards to ask eBay to adjust delivery estimates accordingly, from past experience though even if they say they will it is best not relied on. I am not selling a lot at the moment anyway so late defects will hurt me percentage wise so I will probably put my holiday settings on but allow sales as that recalculates the despatch time automatically.0

Dont expect this to blow over quickly1 -
I'm debating what to do, as if I get my next eBay FVF offer as expected I'd be looking at posting on 30th or 1st, either date isn't going to work well.0

Unrelated I know but this made me chuckle

It's good to see that ebay has announced that it will be protecting sellers whilst the RM industrial action is ongoing, including protecting late delivery metrics and removal of neutral or negative feedback that mentions items being late.
