Bluelagoon2022 said:Oh my apologies - I thought you meant issue date of pcn! County court issue date is 11 July. I have acknowledged it 26 July (was away) but now need to file defense.,(also aware I’ve left it late and only have until 13th aug to do so!)You are almost right with your Defence filing deadline but no court deadline will ever be on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday.
With a Claim Issue Date of 11th July, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 15th August 2022 to file your Defence.
Still a few days to go. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
Oh... and there is no letter 's' in the word Defence.

Haha thank you for the lesson!
Ok so is it correct that I now do not write defence on money claim where I acknowledged the county court claim but must file defence on POPLA website only?
I did not get a notice to keeper so I guess this is my best defence?Thank you so much for replying with help, it’s much appreciated!0 -
This part is correct, however, this part is incorrect, if you check the template defence thread it tells you how and where to file defence by e-mail.Bluelagoon2022 said:Haha thank you for the lesson!

Ok thank you. I’ve read through - I will email the defence to money claim. Hope I have this correct 🙏🏻Thanks again!0

No because the template defence is not for ParkingEye cases. And it doesn't go to 'Moneyclaim' (that's just a system); it goes to the CCBC.Bluelagoon2022 said:Ok thank you. You did get issued with a PCN. That's a NTK. Even if it didn't arrive, PEye certainly issued it.
There are ParkingEye defence examples already linked in the NEWBIES thread. Presumably the patrons of the community centre didn't have to pay &display and could claim a couple of free hours by inputting their VRM at a hidden keypad that no-one tells them about?
This exact scenario is one of the PEye defence examples in the NEWBIES thread.
Then there's another one there about not seeing signage about pay and display, if that was the situation and there was no hidden keypad issue.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you! This is all a bit confusing 🤪0

What do you mean hidden key pad? Are you referring to giving the community centre my VRM and they enter into their system? Yes they do have this at the centre0

Yes.Bluelagoon2022 said:What do you mean hidden key pad? Are you referring to giving the community centre my VRM and they enter into their system? Yes they do have this at the centre
Which is an exact match to one of the already written ParkingEye defences linked in the NEWBIES thread already, as an off-the-shelf resource for everyone with a ParkingEye claim.
By all accounts it should take you half an hour, tops, to adapt that one to suit your case.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
