Hi all
Pigpen she is a gorgeous girl, as my Mum would say she will break a few hearts when she is older!
And talking of gorgeous you look lovely in that dress Natty well done.
Nearly 30 hours done in 3 days at the paid stuff. According to my smart watch I slept for 9 hours and 22 minutes last night, I need to do the same again tonight I think. I have a big deadline to meet tomorrow.
Zero flying done, the same washing has been out on the line for 2 days - I will catch up a bit tomorrow and Friday as I am working from home.
Must do something about renewing my library card and taking some library books back!9 -
Morning all
not much getting done here though I did WUALTD last night, so the kitchen won’t be too grim when I go down. Washing out yesterday and more today, mostly flannels.
hospital appt today but I can’t find the card so I shall check my diary, otherwise I shall have to phone and ask.
Following a phone call with the Steel City hospital I spoke to my friend re taking me - well the letter and email don’t have either of the dates they mentioned, so I now don’t know which is the right date. And my friend cancelled her appt and rescheduled…so another call to make.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I sympathise, Valli. Medical appointments are the bane of my life too. Hope you get it all sorted satisfactorily.
We had a lovely evening yesterday with owls, a hawk, geckos, tortoises, two royal pythons, and a tame skunk named Blossom!
Today's aspirations:
- 2 phonecalls
- hoover and dust LR
- 11.00 meeting
- maybe take my Greek friend out for lunch
- ancestors
- walk Rosie when/if it cools down this evening
Have a good day and keep cool xx10 -

Lovely photo Natty and well done.
Why am I always a day (or more) behind?
Yesterday:
- got in writing that I will be getting a refund from a certain hotel booking company although in this instance I think it was the hostess mistake. Relief, although why it takes them up to 7 days to refund what was taken in 30 seconds is beyond me.
- paid cc bill. Fortunately the above double payment not yet on it so hopefully will all be level next month.
- Mr N and I walked down to 'village plum trees' and picked a large carrier bag of very sweet greengages and plums. Washed, stoned (the fruit not us!!!) and frozen.
- did some of a report
- continued random tidying away of debris from hols and gibble in general.
- caught up with emails
- went to zumba. Hot.
- went to Mr T which was nice and cool after zumba.
- watered greenhouse.
So far today I have:
- put one load through DW
- done a load of dead-heading
- watered hanging baskets, checked greenhouse
- harvested some basil which I'm about to wash and freeze
Glad Mr Iona is improving. Off to pour my coffee.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
oops
almost missed wound care appointment because the telephone system in the hospital doesn't have a way to get a person through to the right dept...got through at 9;20. Appt at 9;30 THEN dentist offered me an earlie hygiensist appt THEN rang the steel city hospitals re the TWO letters and additional email appointments becuase I knew one was right, one was wrong and I didn't know about the third so got them sorted and THEN got a text from GP 'who have been trying to contact' - presumably couldn't get through as I was making calls to offer me an asthma review...I am so please I now have an expensive diary which runs from this week until Dec 23 because it's all getting quite ridiculous.
DD dragged out of bed to leave me at patient drop off - got there late but not too late.
Still plastered; still can't shower. Wedding on Sunday. DD helped me strip wash - and remove plaster marks - after I got back from hosptal. Am now in floaty dress. (Separates are key for hospital as I usually have to strip to the waist)
Washing on line. Lots of flannels (washcloths) which have had a 60 deg wash so they're practically sterile lolDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Twot 🥵 and we're not even in the Amber Alert area this time!
Dropped off DB's birthday card on my way to work. He's away on his boat in Norfolk so I texted him Happy Birthday. We are now the same age! For the next three weeks 😊
Fantastic day at work. Just me on Therapies so very busy and the day flew by.
Roasty roast roast drive home in my oven of a car. Wrapped presents for GF and they called in to pick them up on their way past- going to the pub quiz.
DB's present arrived. I'll wrap it and drop it off with DSil so it's there when he comes home in a couple of weeks time.
I've refilled the hedgehogs dish and the birdbath, and watered my geraniums and hanging basket.
Now preparing to starfish on top of the bed in an attempt to cool down enough to sleep.
Sweet dreams everyone
