Like buses, you get a lull without a DCB Legal discontinuation, then two come at once!
First one - from Facebook - was for nasty UKPC who hounded and harassed an elderly car owner, who was not the driver. Unfortunately the driver had encroached slightly into the cross hatching in a disabled bay, but it was a dodgy one with hatching only on one side, the vehicle positioning was needed for access!
Court date came through and D was unwell so a new date was requested from court and court replied to say it's discontinued. DCB Legal couldn't be bothered to tell her themselves. What wasters they are!

And no two - also from Facebook - Defendant had no recollection of having received the PCN in 2022 nor any subsequent correspondence, so it was hard to put a detailed defence together but we gave it a go. Mediation ensued and they were pushing for the full amount still, no deal offered. Several phone calls were attempted to extort funds from the D, to no avail.
Then out of the blue, before being transferred to a local court or a court date being set, the nice big green towel was chucked in. Capitulation and discontinuation!
