WIZZ AIR - What? Them Again?

10 Posts

I know folks, I know....... there is a lot of posts on here about Wizz Air and I've read them all (and it doesn't make good reading), but I just want some advice of my own.
Used Wizz Air to fly from Liverpool to Katowice return in June. Outgoing flight was absolutely fine, no issues at all. The flight back to Liverpool was due to depart at 06.40hrs so because we had to give our hire vehicle back we agreed to get to the airport at 04.30hrs. About 03.00hrs in the middle of the night we all got a text to say our flight was rescheduled to 17.45hrs that day, but to check in as normal at Katowice.
We did, and other than a soggy croissant and bottle of water handed to us at 5.30am, we were left sat in the airport until our flight eventually took off at 7.10pm. Essentially, we had to sit on a metal bench in high temperatures for the entire day.
I've submitted the claim forms, attorney signatures for my two mates and have waited and waited. I've had an email saying our claim is registered in the system and they are sorry for the delay, however its been 34 days now and they said it would be completed after 30. Wizz Air are impossible to get hold of, I did get through to one of their customer service reps who said he would email the claims team.
Any suggestions on a next step please?
