Esapres now sell a Bosch plastic cover £4.50 that makes removing the Neff oven bulb cover off easy.
I still needed promting that the bulb is at the back right of the oven and not the front left.

Wow, that was a struggle. What helped:
Make sure you are turning anti-clockwise looking up at cover.
It is a full thread - not a bayonet/pull out fitting
Got a seat beside oven and managed to apply tunring force with
both hands and it finally budged.
I have not fully tightened cover after replacing - hope this makes the job easier next time0 -
The stick+hammer worked enough to loosen it for me, but tricky to get the stick in place, given the grill element (Siemens small oven). Bosch has a video on UTube showing their tool, also available from espares. Search UTube for shSmPrdfiaU (the forum won't let me paste the full link).0

The hammer and piece of wood technique worked a treat.
Thanks0 -
I had trouble with a Neff oven (B1322) . I called them up & if I recall they said tap it anti-clockwise gently with a hammre and a piece of wood. Did come off then.
A search on Google leads straight back to MSE.
Another +1 for the hammer on wood.
So thanks to The_Biff for sharing the tip. No doubt saved me hours of frustration.0 -
I will need to suggest the wood and hammer idea to OH, its been black in my oven for weeks now.
If he doesn't get that cover off very soon i will be looking for a new oven. Maybe I should anyway, it is 24 years old!0 -
My Neff oven is about 18months old & I had the same problem for some time.
When I rang the Neff helpline they said as the oven was less than 2 years old they would send me the lamp cover removal tool free.
It worked like a dream & took me about 2 mins after me having spent an age trying before.
If your oven is not under warranty the tool number is Bosch 613634 or HBN435AGB/01& it costs £4.25
Money well spent!!
