Dishwasher and washer might have Eco settings, do you use them? Won't save a massive amount but it all adds upBarnsley, South Yorkshire

Yes, I use dishwasher eco setting and washing machine I use the short daily wash rather than the 2+ hour cycles, never had an issue with cleanliness using either on the eco settings. When I bought the appliances, they were very energy efficient, however I expect appliances have improved with the new ratings recently.0

TBH I use the quickwash too, easier to time the heating part with my solar.
I really hope you can get this sorted, you're so efficient with everything it's not fair you have big bills.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Just to say it might be worth checking your washing machine manual to see if the quick wash is cheaper to run than the eco setting. With a quick wash the washing machine will heat the water as quickly as possible, which could cost more than the eco mode.MrsBeee said:Yes, I use dishwasher eco setting and washing machine I use the short daily wash rather than the 2+ hour cycles, never had an issue with cleanliness using either on the eco settings. When I bought the appliances, they were very energy efficient, however I expect appliances have improved with the new ratings recently.0 -
Maybe but there is something taking 17 kwh a day and its not the quick wash cycle.1

Accounted for already by the OP
2kwh just for having the heatpump.in standby (appears to be a known Daikin vampire issue)
3kwh hungry Fridge Freezer3kwh hot water (estimate but could be more depending if the backup immersion kicks in) add another 4Kwh on Legionella burn day.
1.5kwh washing machine1kwh electric cooking
What are we up to
10.5kwh accounted for and 14.5kwh on Legionella burn day
So some TV and router add .5kwh
It might be worth the OP getting a tapo p110 energy monitor and leaving it a device for 48 hours and recording the usage.2
