Sorry to butt in but I would say yes to the Isle of Man - it is beautiful & there are various places to visit. I particularly enjoyed the ride on the steam train, Douglas Bay Horse Tramway & the visit to Laxey mining town.MrsSDBe Kind. Stay Safe. Break the Chain. Morning all xx
Hugs and love to Jazee, Mr Jazee and Littleydog ❤ xx
I'm up. Of course I'm up. It's Sunday. I could lie in til lunch time but oh no. 6am. Ping. And once I've pinged the desire for a brew begins to creep through my veins.....until it's compulsory for me to get up and put the kettle on.
I've made my bed, opened the curtains, taken my meds, and, while waiting for the kettle to boil, I put all the cans of pop in the fridge and tore up the box ready for recycling. Must have my flylady head on 😇
I've turned over the calendars and popped on to A-zon to order my DB's favourite cologne/ aftershave type stuff.🤞 it's here for Thursday, his birthday. It was much easier when I could nip to the Co-op and buy him a shedful of shortbread and chocolate .... but he now has diabetes....ooops. Anyhoo he told me that he only ever wears this particular cologne stuff so that's what he's getting for his birthday, and he'll get another bottle for Christmas....ad infinitum until he tells me what else he likes 😊 Then it's GF's birthday on Friday. That'll be a shedful of cider and chocolate required. I have both the birthday cards so I was nearly organised....is there an emoji with a wonky halo?
Then there are no birthdays until November- so I'll write my new annual birthday list and my Christmas lists too. Of course there is a birthday in September if I decide to buy a from me, to me type prezzie. And my nearly twinnie Valli will catch me up later in the month. 😊
Another brew, get dressed, then I'll draw up a Round.
Love to all
Rxx

Round that made me smile, DS1 likes Code Red aftershave from Next. Hope they never stop selling it.
I need to move, I am cycling with my ladies group at 9am and it a route that I have never done before so I am nervous. After that I am aiming for a lazy day. Catch you all later.8 -
Morning all,
Gentle hugs to the Jazees and to Littleydog x
Nothing much planned today, as all plans thwarted by problems with my car again. DH is having to step in and do the running around, and I’m trying to see just how many hours it will take me to get to work tomorrow, courtesy of the rural bus services.
I have a long list written of things to do, but none of them are looking too attractive atm. Maybe the second cuppa will help.
YL - because you and I obviously live in some kind of parallel universe, I have also been feeling out of sorts this past week. I am trying very hard to put this down to anxiety, as work is stressful, this whole car business with the shunt in DH’s car plus my car now playing up, DD’s medication which we can’t get sorted, plus all the usual health stuff. I have a horrible feeling that I might wind up at the doctors at this rate, as my mind is on overdrive and my heart rate is trying hard to follow suit.
Need to pull something from the freezer for dinner, and make that second cuppa.
Have a good day all x8 -
Ooh Isle of Man…there’s a thought…
my oldest cousin used to race in the TT I believe…
