Hello
Thank you for the lists. I will try to bob myself into action.
Welcome to Tahlullah.
Welcome back to the Newly Recombobulated Round - look at you go!
Just back from big city hospital appointment with DD. They are pleased with her. Next - off to GP to persuade then that yes, she does now have to come back as a guest because yes, the meds which she needs are now an emergency, given that you wouldn't listen to her last week when she told you the same.
4 hours wfh done, easy dinner planned, 1 load of towels washed. S’pose I ought to try and do some of this flying lark this afternoon. Oohh I need to go and hunt out some seeds from the shed - that will delay the flying for a while 😉 x7 -
Round you've slowed down a bit!Squeak is now 5ft 3 and a bit.. at 12 (all but 3 days) 91st centile! she is bigger than 4 of the fully grown siblings, currently diagnosed with a complex tic disorder.. not yet Tourettes because they've not done enough testing. She was ffered medication which may or may not help and she refused it.. we have another appointment in 2 months.
I hung out some washing and brought in a folded pile, aired some bits in the dryer and pcked Twinkles stuff..

piggers - yes, slowed down but that's because they keep putting athletics and gymnastics and stuff like that on telly. I am totally loving the books. A colleague's son who is an astronomy/ quantum physics geek (like me) says that reading Terry Pratchett is a whole new level.....of weird 🤔 😂 I embrace my weird these days. Who couldn't enjoy a book set in a kingdom called Djelibeybi.....that was No 8. I'm in Holy Wood now.....love it, love it, love it.
Fayolle - have a mahoosive hog from ooop norf 😘 Breaking every job down into teeny tiny spoon size bites is working a treat. Still a whole lot of elephant 🐘 to eat though. Metaphorically speaking of course!
I have the urge to wash the WM's detergent drawer ..... I'll do that next.

Round.. I cannot abide his books.. I read one because everyone raved about how good they were.and had never read such utter drivel in my life.. it was not for me.. I haven't read anything since I was pregnant with Squeak and she is 12 on Thursday.. (I never finished that series either.. Dot is very time consuming
Squeak collected.OH is putting up trellisesMy mother found a baby fish in her pond..and I haven't done any more packing.. I did boss the girls to remove the washing from the front room though if that counts.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
Pigpen I feel a bit of an outsider in most situations in my life, even with people that would probably say they like me I am not sure that they really understand me. I should maybe care more about this than I do.
Well done on the weight loss Kaz.
Loonnngg tiring day at the paid stuff. DH is feeling a bit rubbish again. The consultant wants DS1 to have more tests before they try a new treatment for his Crohn's and he is flatly refusing.
Clean washing brought in and put away, doggie blankets out on the line for another hour, bed changed and a quick tidy around. Looks like a wet start again tomorrow so I will be driving in to work.

YL.. I think because I went for dinner with the coven yesterday it made me realise how awkward it is.. I don't care really it is just a bit annoying in the moment. I am Stitch and I grew my own Ohana and I'm good.. My mother has gone on holiday every year with my 2 sisters who are 10 and 14 years younger than me.. yet yesterday was the first time she has ever suggested me going too.. it was weird.. I'm not going.. but it is nice to be asked!DW emptied and refilled and running now.Dinner cooked and scoffedOH erected some trellis and strung up the star jasmine which has been laid on the grass for several months.. it looks much neater. I watered everything.. including him.. he complained, I guffawed!
recycling outSqueaks pack up done
OH nagged to cleanse a sticky Twinkle and a grimy Pixie .. smelly crowd!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
Welcome Tallulah.
Well done Kaz. You are doing so well. I did actually get down to the next 'stone' today which was exciting - I suppose half a stone isn't too bad but very slow, over about 6 weeks although one of those included a holiday.
Today:
- went river swimming
- filled bird feeders. Again.
- got paperwork ready for tomorrow's assessment
- checked a few more things needed for our few days away later this week, including trying on a dress which thankfully fitted.
- cancelled millk and changed order for when we come back.
- cheered as our local young lady (family comes to my village church) got silver in her para swimming; emailed her mum to congratulate.
- wrapped Mr N's birthday presents.
- walked up to 'village plum tree' with Mr N and picked lots of plums and greengages. He washed and stoned them while I watered greenhouse and patio pots & baskets.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
plans for cutting grass and car cleaning today have gone as it's raining again, so just the greenhouse to water then.
I started on my master plan yesterday in a little notebook but initially I'm going to need a spreadsheet so maybe I'll make progress with that today.
Aspirations today:
dog walk
admin
flick duster on stick around house
change sofa throws
Thats quite enough.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7
