Premier Parking Enforcement LTD have now said that I can't pay for Case 1, as it is now with a debt recovery company. I've had no correspondence from Gladstone. They seem to like their letters/emails and texts to land at the weekend.

    Anyway:

I've written to MSE for a change of name! I had a feeling that would have to happen.

I've written to my local MP and Councillor, outlining the matter and asking for assistance. One can only try, I suppose.

I've sent an email to my doctor, telling them that I won't be coming off my medication, asked for a repeat prescription and said that I may actually need to increase my dose (as advised by the doctor himself).

I've emailed Gladstone solicitor with a photo of my medication, asking them to cancel.

The solicitor got back to me, saying that they basically aren't bothered about the health concerns raised. They have, however, asked me to supply how much I can afford on a monthly basis and provided a further 14 days 'or it goes to court'.

So all I've managed to do is prolong the matter.

Send some evidence of your medical condition and tell them you will report them to the CSA (check if they are a member) for failing to deal appropriately with a vulnerable consumer who owes nothing at all but is being hounded in the same way as in the case of Ferguson v British Gas.

    Copy in your MP again.

They have also said that they won't be responding to any further correspondence. I'm just going to report them to the CSA anyway, but I think they will fall back on the fact they've asked me to pay what I can.

It's not just about the money. Not for me, anyway.

Ignoring medical evidence and asking a vulnerable person to 'pay up anyway' is not following the CSA guidance for vulnerable people, I suspect.  Read that first so you know exactly what CSA rules are being breached.

I shall. I've found their guidance.
Premier Parking aren't a member of the CSA, or at least not with the search I just conducted using my phone...

The parking firm could never be a member of a debt collection trade body. That was not what I said.
