    Coupon.

FOI request to the Council asking for details on the decision making process, copies of emails between the Council and operator and the internal legal advice received.

May as well ask for the planning and advert consent details too!

Have I misunderstood this, are councils not allowed to bring in a ppc to enforce car parking using ANPR?

there’s a few car parks near near me that appear not to follow this, in fact the PPC that runs the car parks is based at the council offices

It amazes me that they continue to get away with it, seemingly using the whole private parking scam to get around managing their car parks properly and scamming the public in the process,

I haven’t been caught myself but well aware of them, and know to avoid

Ha, because the regulars on this forum know the parking scam back to front

That is why all parking companies and their very dodgy legals are so scared of this forum

Judges read this forum which helps them to spot a scam

It needs someone to drive this home with determination and resilience. Forum regulars can't be expected to chase every problematic issue anywhere and everywhere.

Unfortunately, with most who come here for help, once we give them the support they want to get them out of their £100 corner, off they go with no thought for their fellow man/woman, or the bigger picture. No wonder it's an uphill struggle, despite over 9 million motorists receiving private parking tickets this year, just a dozen or so of us are left fighting the scam!  Scamdolous!

I, also like a lot of people, before finding this forum was very naive of it all, and haven’t any experience in what or how to deal with these people.

It certainly opened my eyes that this type of thing goes on. But I’m by no means experienced.

Unfortunately most people don’t know the ins and outs of laws that the ppcs exploit this is a good example of that

while most people like you say are not interested once they have their proverbial monkey off their back, the average man/woman in the street doesn’t have the knowledge, experience or ability to take on something bigger like this not to mention the time. Shame as it may be
