Thank you again
Second that, and please send it exactly like that - no editing requiredBBC WatchDog “if you are struggling with an unfair parking charge do get in touch”
Please then tell us here that you have done so.4 -
I would keep the response from Wise because the "nice to have but not essential" perfectly describes the IPC Code of Practice and just how ineffective the IPC is.

While that is great news please do let us know if you sent the letter drafted by Coupon-mad, was it that which forced the change of position?

I also emailed Coupon-mad's drafted response letter a few days back that addressed the inadequate FOI-request I received.
I believe both of these had something to do with the cancellation.

Great news! The really snotty robust responses almost always work.

There will be other matches I'm sure but our squad is stronger and has more stamina and anger.
Please remind the NHS Trust that the FOI reply is still required. We want this made public and to see those answers. Please update this thread when you get the FOI response!
There seems to be something odd about this contract and possibly the tender process. Makes zero sense for a brand new firm to be let loose at hospitals, causing complaints already (of course). Odd that the Director himself was personally replying and protesting too much, until the NHS Trust finally trod on him like an ant.
I still wonder if there is a connection or conflict of interests here. Would like to see the tender records and decisions.
Oh and a note to Wise Parking:
If you are reading this...next time, it would have been more professional to have apologised to the disabled motorist. You know that a 'sorry' was called for.
Prominent signs are only 'nice to have' are they?
You'll learn, once the Government-appointed Scrutiny Board start scrutinising the likes of Wise Parking. Your industry has made a lot of enemies already and this sort of crap at a hospital doesn't help your cause.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I will do.
Thank you so much for your input.
I will of cause post on here any letters/emails once received relating to the outstanding complaint and FOI request.
I agree something does not sit right with this. I will definitely be pursuing the Trust to cancel/refund all PCN's issued/paid prior to the additional signage being displayed.
The facts remain the same, the additional signs Wise Parking had installed directly under the existing signs and throughout the carpark, were to make it clear, legible and prominent, so it’s brought to the driver’s attention making all enforcement prior to these signs being installed, unlawful.3 -
Great news ..... The question must be is why this NHS trust did not do their homework before they employed Wise parking
If they did their homework they would understand that the IPC is just a scammers portal to the Gladstones scam .... ... those who want to scam join the IPC scam.
Stuart Cole ? just piffle, it's the penalty for an NHS scam you introduced
A question to Stuart .... what would you do in the same situation ?
Any reason why ALL NHS trusts should employ a IPC / GLADSTONES SCAMMERS ?1 -
How exactly are disabled people meant to 'register' their Blue Badge without leaving the car without one displayed, by the way?
I mean, surely they don't give disabled people 5 minutes flat (or zero time...) to race to the hospital reception, queue up, get to the front, register the Badge in their hand with a person who needs to take note of it and your VRM on a system, and check in for their appointment, then race back outside in the rain, cold or darkness at night, to display it on the dash before some 'Wise' parking 'employee' decides to immediately ticket the car?
And are you meant to do this EVERY visit?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

How does that work if someone has a disability covered under the Equality act but no blue badge?
