The first photo shows TWO different parking companies on it; namely, SIP Car Parks Limited and SIP Parking Limited.

Good spot. Different companies with different company numbers registered at Companies House.

Forgive me if I'm being thick but does this change anything for my defence?

You're not being thick - the point is who (which legal entity) is the alleged contract with? who has a claim, which company? This just adds more confusion, all good points for you.

@Coupon-mad will be interested to see the sign with the early payment charge reduced to £25, as it supports the government's ideas to cap charges at £50 with a 50% discount, and goes against the parking industry's claim that PPCs can't survive with charges at this level, and without the fake add on £60 - £70 admin/debt collection fees.
That sign proves the £50 / £25 level is commercially viable, given that some 80-90% of those who pay, do so at the discount.

This plus the £60/£30 levels used at Universities up and down the Country (F1rst Parking) AND the £70/£20 level offered by APCOA at large and busy Tesco store car parks, show that this level is certainly a valid working model and a deterrent.

If we are wrong, then this Country park would be plagued by rogue parking. It's not.

And every University would be swamped by people arriving in droves, to use and abuse the land to dump their cars all day.  Doesn't happen.

And Tesco car parks would be heaving with commuters and people popping to the beach all day.  Anyone seen that?!

    Thought not.

Actually, the number "(08456205)" belongs to an entirely different company SIP Car Parks (1) Limited:-

(Failure to disclose a company's name and, (correct), registration number is an offence under the Companies Act 2006).

SIP Car Parks Limited (11244191) is technically a dormant company, the balance sheet only shows unpaid share capital £100 and called up share capital £100. There has been no change in that since incorporation in March 2018.

The BPA list this (dormant) company as a member.

SIP Car Parks (1) Limited (08456205) is a subsidiary of SIP Car Parks (Holdings) Limited (09297491). The other subsidiary company is Land and Securities Limited (06752444).

SIP Car Parks (1) Limited is not listed as a member of the BPA.

SIP Parking Limited (06752126) was previously SIP Clamping and Security Provider Limited. Well, well, well.

BPA list SIP Parking Limited t/as SIP Car Park (UK), ANPReye, Morgan Knightley & Co, SIP Car Parks & Simple Intelligent Parking as a member.

Now I wonder, have they got the landowner authority in the right name? Are the correct contracts in place?

There are no relevant related party transactions disclosed in any of the accounts, so how does the dormant SIP Car Parks Limited manage the site while SIP Parking Limited manage all enforcement actions without any transactions between the 2 companies?

    Edit to add:

The IPC list SIP Parking Limited t/as SIP Car Park (UK), ANPReye, Morgan Knightley & Co, SIP Car Parks & Simple Intelligent Parking as a member but link to SIP Car Park (1) Limited's web site.

The IPC does not list either SIP Car Parks Limited or SIP Car Parks (1) Limited as members.
