I've just looked at our bank account and realised I didn't withdraw the cash for week 4 of July. I'm going to have a look at how much we have In our miscellaneous cash wallet and days out etc. And if we have enough to 'fall back on' I'll make a mortgage overpayment. I might leave it in the account until the end of the month as a 'just incase'

I also need to work out what school uniform the kids need replaced ready for September I know they all need school shoes I'm hoping uniform wise they won't Need anything and I'll just replace it when they grow.
Tesco does have 25% off uniform at the moment I think until tomorrow and I also have an £8 off £40 spend for f&f clothing if they will both work combined so I'll pop there in the morning and see.

    Good luck with the uniform.

Well done for using a week's less cash than expected. That's awesome.

Evening my beautifuldiaryfriends, or morning I should say 😉
    Hope you are all well.

@savingholmes thank you. Yeah we did well last week we only spent what we had left over from the week before which will hopefully mean we can make am extra overpayment at the end of the month

Completely forgot to go to tesco for school uniform but I'll go through the kids stuff and see what they need and just get what they need. I'll donate what doesn't fit them to the local uniform exchange.

Love hugs positivity and prayers to you all

I’m new to the party here but have been on a similar financial journey to yourself.  It took me a lot more years than you to get sorted though.

    Happy belated birthday!
  • Good evening my beautiful diary friends ❤️

I hope you are all well.

    Positive of today
First mortgage payment at the new amount was paid 🥳🥳🥳

Not so positive of the day
I couldn't get my car into gear at a junction with road works and the car behind me wouldn't stop beeping at me as I was trying my hardest to get it to go into 1st gear. The beeping was really stressing me out.

Currently trying to get this unit finished for my diploma

Goodnight love hugs positivity and prayers to you all ❤️

Let's hope for a better day tomorrow.

According to this debt payoff app I've just downloaded i need to clear an additional £3075 to hit my target of £110,000 left at the end of the year. There are 23 weeks left of this year so that's £134 a week or £615 a month including this month (August) 😳

That's a big target - is that remotely doable? How would you set out to achieve it?
