You are doing well despite lots of challenges. You are human and can only do what you can do - as is the same for all of us.

  • Afternoon my beautiful diary friends

Thank you for all the love ❤️

I didn't do much yesterday. AF showed up and I was in agony and just exhausted 😩

Kids come back today. I've started my emergency antibiotics and steroids because I'm certain I have a chest infection

I've done some laundry and tidied the kitchen abit and the downstairs bathroom.

I found most of dds uniform in her drawers yesterday same for ds2. So I Need to sort all that out.

I've asked DP to bring down any laundry from upstairs.

I need to cash stuff my binders tomorrow 😩 I try and do it every Monday so tomorrow will be our first week for September.

We are going to the lake tonight because they are doing fireworks so I'll take them abit before to go on the park and the bouncy castle etc.
I have money in our entertainment envelope for that. I have no money left from August it was so bad I think I've borrowed around £100 from Sept budget to stop us going into the overdraft. 😭

But it's okay. Sept is a new month and we are going back to cash spending so Sept will be a better month for sure.

I Need to start saving for a fridge freezer ours has been on the blink for a while.. I do have a small emergency fund I could use but I'm trying to avoid using that. We have a chest freezer now so I'll just get a standard fridge freezer.

Just done a covid Lateral flow because I've been on annual leave this week and go back to work tomorrow. Also want to rule that out because of my chest and the first thing they will ask is if I've done a covid test. 🙄

Anyway looking forward to taking the kids later.

Tumble dryer is still going. I need to fold and put away the laundry 😪  I hate housework I'm not gonna lie when my mood is low it just feels like an endless mountain of stuff to do. When I'm okay I actually enjoy doing it and seeing the end result 🙃

  • It's okay. We didn't track spending like we do when we do cash so it's our own fault.

    Sept will be better.

I'm still awake. In pain tired but can't get comfortable 😴

Work tomorrow afternoon hope I feel better by then xxx

Good luck with the budgeting. I think tangible £ can really help with sticking to plan.

  • Hello my beautiful diary friends

    Hope you are all well.

I didn't sleep at all last night. But I have a call with my gp today so I'm going to speak to her about it. The night before I slept about 3 hours. I was extremely restless and agitated. The night before that wasn't much better so I'm keeping a close eye on myself and just going to make them aware as not sleeping and restlessness is normally a sign that I'm becoming hypo-manic / manic.

I see this as a bit of a diary which is why I'm so open and honest with you all.

    Anyway

    Today I need to

    1. Cash stuff - and I'm going to start making little videos tracking our spending etc

    2. Post office

    3. Phone gp surgery re have coil removed

    4. Speak to gp on phone call that is already booked re skin / and mention not sleeping etc

    5. Promised I'd take the kids to the park

    6. Laundry ...  the dreaded laundry 🤣

    7. Sort out school uniform

    8. Diploma work if I'm still standing 🤣😱

    9. Take carboard to tesco

    10. Tidy garden / skip run - can't remember  if they are open will have to check

    11. Sort out lunch boxes and water bottles ready for back to school and write down If need replacing

    12. Set September's goals 🙌

    13. Be kind to myself ..  its okay if I don't get much done  today 🙂

Hugs love positivity and prayers to you all. Hope you have a lovely day will try and catch up later.

Eta. I don't have an update for Aug spends because I didn't track it 😭
