After going over the last two months I think £350 was slightly too ambitious. Therefore I’d like to aim for £375 this month. Hopefully this will be more achievable

Hello, please can you add me in with £165?
That's two adults and a cat, excluding milk bill.
Thought I had best make it slightly higher as we need to include cleaning products in this month's spend.Keep reading books!
July grocery challenge START: £150.
total SPENT £127.53, REMAINING £22.37.7 -
Technically the first spend of the month, even though it's still July...
For the first time in years I went to Ald* - I came out with 2 bags of shopping for not a lot! Rather taken aback by the lower prices, well lower than what I've been buying from T and Morries. T price matches but there's so many other things to buy because it's handy when doing a big online shopping and M's just more expensive but a pleasant place to shop.
Spend - £23.56
Balance - £226.44
What I did like was the lack of choice - it's this or that, not c20 types of the same thing if you know what I mean. Much easier to price compare, less time swithering. No veg boxes, I'd like to try one of those. However, I had to take the car as the store is much further than M's which I can walk to.
This month I'm going to go back to A and try Lid* too. See if I can get everything from those 2 and manage my budget differently.
Only thing I bought not on my list was rum and raisin chocolate - boy it looks delish. Huge block for £1.49. Let's see if I can make it last....9 -
I’m spending well over £600 and nearer to £700 last few months and as I don’t separate out anything into different budgets it’s a very high spend…must do better8

Good Afternoon. I haven't posted on here for a long time but I really need to come back now! Thank you for the thread and please could I have a budget of£250
for August.
For the past couple of years we've all slipped into eating what and when we wanted but now I need to look back through the budget veggie recipes and start meal planning again.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.7 -
great to see how many are joining in with the August challenge. At the moment the only thing on my shopping list for the new month is tomatoes and a cucumber. Did a large shop when I came back from my holidays in midJuly so lots of stuff to get through before I need a great deal more
Good luck everyone it all begins anew tomorrow
