Good refurbed / used mobile phone under £200 ish
Ok. Probably been asked a million times before but I guess each day changes the list but..
I am looking for a good mobile ( refurbed or maybe used ) under around £200. My current one is about to die a death but I dont want to take a contract out.
Whats important
Screen size at least 5.5"
Good Camera
64gb+ memory
Either android or maybe iPhone
Unlocked
I use it probably 80% personal 20% business. Mainly browsing, gmail, WhatsApp etc, watching Netflix/Now taking family photos, maps
Unless it brilliant I dont really want a Samsung, my family has had 3 of these in the past and all have had their problems and dont really want a Chinese unknown phone unless again its brilliant
Thanks

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… iPhone XS from Amazon renewed should be in your budget. IMO superb value for money.1

Why buy a secondhand refurbed phone when you can get a shiny new one for the same priceNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers3

The downside of second hand/ refurbished, especially with Android is the reduced support and security update period.
Many only get 2 years from new, so may be well through that then when purchased second hand.0 -

I see that music magpie flows you to rent a phone just for 12 months eg. iPhone XS Max £21 per month BUT I cant find out what phone insurance would cover rented phones
good idea or not ?0 -
Just make sure that any Android phone is running the 64bit version of the OS. Many of the cheaper Moto's run a 32bit version even though they have a 64bit processor (even on Android 12). You will get more and more limited on what apps you can run if you don't get a 64bit OS version.0
