cheapest backup PAYG
Hi
Looking for an elderly friend of the family. She only uses the phone a few times a month when she needs to phone for a taxi,
I am looking for the cheapest up front cost and then a plan that doesnt require frequent top ups as her credit lasts for ever. I understand these may not be the same thing and I might have to buy credit or a bundle with the phone on one network and then switch when it runs out.
any suggestions? thx

Just sent for my RWG sim and paid the £5:00. Waiting for sim to arrive. A couple of questions please.
1) Why do some people choose to turn off their voicemail on the RWG network. Is it costly to listen to a voicemail message left on my phone?
2) Can I use the new phone number which will come with the sim for a couple of months to see whether I am happy with my new provider and then port my old number from my existing provider?
I just changed from Three to Asda mobile but am going to buy a new phone. I thought I would leave my old number with my old phone for now (it is important for me to be able to access all my apps and hospital messages on this existing number without any difficulty) and use the new number with the new phone for a trial period. Will this work ok?

2) Can I use the new phone number which will come with the sim for a couple of months to see whether I am happy with my new provider and then port my old number from my existing provider?Yes, no problem at all.

Just get your PAC when you're ready and submit it to RWG, you shouldn't have any issues.
Thanks
