Contacting the driver is pointless, you should have contacted the restaurant or Uber Eats the second you got the order confirmation, then it could have been corrected before despatch.

You could keep trying to ask Uber Eats for a refund, but they may say its user error
So I ve been using ubereats and normally sends to my home as it's the preference I ve put the Payment on the PayPal  Resolution centre as I am Neurodivese the app should accommodate for that saying there is no opinion on the app to correct the address to the Restaurant only to  the Driver
As a fellow sufferer of neurodiversity, I still can’t see how this is their fault.
You sent them to the wrong address, I’ve used the app loads and don’t think it’s a glitch - just an old address was accidentally selected.
I think you’ll have to let this one go and be more careful next time.
I think you're all wasting your time, the OP has already said they've now escalated it with Uber, Trading Standards, PayPal. I'm sure the Queen will be hearing about it before the weekend.

I think this thread was probably made for validation rather than criticism.
    Know what you don't

Hving delivered by bicycle, in the distant past, for UberEats, I sympathise with the driver. I've attended the address in app, to be told by the customer it's the wrong address. On calling "support", I was told I'd not be paid any extra for making the extra trip and that I could decide to deliver it or not. As time is money on these "gig" jobs, I chose not to.
